STAY AT THE RED HART
Situated in the heart of Llanvapley village, overlooking the picturesque county of Monmouthshire, is The Red Hart. Launched in the spring of 2024 and adjoining the historic pub, this newly created self-contained accommodation is the perfect getaway for couples and small families.
THE RED HART ROOM
Self contained accommodation with character and class. Located at the head of The Hart Garden and accessed via a private patio adjoining The Red Hart, this spacious self-contained accommodation is an ideal getaway for explorers, walkers and tourists. Boasting its King Size bed and double sofa bed, the room can comfortably accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. It also has its own small kitchen area plus large walk in shower and toilet facilities.Â
Meals. A continental breakfast hamper is included in the price for all stays. All other meals are self-catering.
Facilities. Real log burner, tea and coffee, fridge, microwave, cupboard space in the kitchen area, walk in shower, high chair. If you take advantage of the market towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth as well as local farms for food and drink whilst you’re away, you’ll have plenty of space to store it in your room.Â
Look and feel. The room is newly annexed from The Red Hart pub: retaining original features but authentically decorated in a rustic style with a twist.

Nestled in the small village of Llanvapley opposite the historic village church, The Red Hart is blessed with Abergavenny just a few miles to the west and Monmouth a few miles to the east. If you’re travelling to the area for history, walks, weddings or Abergavenny’s world-famous food festival, we’d love to hear from you.
Check-in/out. Self check-in via a lockbox (code given after booking) puts our guests in control. Standard check in is 3pm and standard check out is before 11am. There can be flexibility however if you mention this request on booking.
PRICE PER NIGHT
Accommodation is available Thursday to Sunday with a two night minimum stay.
