In 2019, the husband and wife team of Leah and Paul took The Red Hart into their hearts. Bursting with history, legend and mystery, The Red Hart retains its ties to the local community with a modern friendly twist.

If you’re dining at The Red Hart, you can sit back knowing that you’re tucking into locally sourced ingredients cooked with love and care and selected to reflect seasonal availability. Sip local tipples including drinks from The Wye Valley Brewery and White Castle Vineyard plus hand-picked selections of delightful Italian wines. With its south facing garden overlooking the lush Monmouthshire countryside and neighbouring cricket pavilion, is there anywhere nicer to sit and watch the world go by? Leah and Paul open their doors to you but its the heart and soul of the team that will make you want to re-visit time and time again.

Whether you’re in for a drink, a meal, staying overnight or booking your event with us, you’ll be looked after from start to finish.

Amazing experience at the Red Hart. We were on holiday and popped in as we saw it had great reviews. Customer service was spectacular and the locals were so welcoming to us. We told the staff that it was my partners birthday, they brought out a complimentary cake and everyone sang happy birthday. I couldn’t have asked for better service and I would recommend anyone going as it blew me away!
